# 20 Klemen Repnik

GH: In last year's interview, you stated that, given the number of games you played, you had higher expectations. Now you have your first "full" season behind you. What are your feelings, and how do you rate the season?

My feelings about last season are okay. I had a lot of opportunities to play, and I was able to prove that I could be competitive both in the club and in the whole league. I would rate my first entire season at 6.5 / 10, could still catch a few dropped balls. Run routes more precisely. I definitely see tremendous progress throughout the season. I think there is still a lot of room for improvement this year.

GH: You have the status of a fast-footed catcher on the team who knows how to dodge defensive players. How do you use your talents to fight your opponent's defensive players?

I think that what I run out of on long routes makes up for perfectly with short routes because I think I choose well the "run" campaigns, which are pretty close to me. I like the style of playing "safe" balls, and then the acquired yards mean much more, especially in the psychological sense when the defensive player can't pull out the flag.

GH: With 14 goals scored in the 2021 season, you share fourth place with Bordon. Do you think you could achieve more touchdowns in any match, and where will you turn in the standings in the 2022 season?

Of course, there were still a lot of chances for hits, but not everything went according to plan. However, dropped, intercepted, and wet balls are essential for flag football as a sport. I believe I will have many opportunities this year and will be able to correct the mistakes of last season.

GH: Which defeat was the most painful in the 2021 season, and how did you feel?

Probably the most painful defeat against the Tigers Orange in the playoffs. It was the first game of the day, and obviously, we weren't "in the zone" yet, at our right pace. The attack was inadequate, and we were not sovereign enough in defence either. I also had a missed ball that could turn the game in our favour. But such is life in sports. We have nothing.

GH: You're known for memes. Did you make any memes at your own expense of dropped balls?

Hahaha, I did, yeah.
