Frogs and facing Jazbeci in SFFL clash of unbeaten

The current national champions have suffered just five defeats in the last two years and have started this season with three wins. If the Jazbeci is the Slovenian Flag Football League kryptonite Novo Mesto Knights in recent seasons, their kryptonite became the players of Domžale Tigers Orange in the previous season as they were the only ones to suffer two defeats. Well, this season, the Badgers more than found a recipe for the Tigers Orange, as they "blew them away" with a score of 46-12.
In the first season of our SFFL, we lost twice to Jazbeci.

The victories came on the wings of Nejc Lebar, a national team passer who was looking for fast receivers and trying to break through our defence in all possible ways. After the first round, the Badgers occupy first place, and Lebar is the person who put his team at the top of the rankings. He passed for 20 touchdowns, 13 points after conversions for one point, threw six intercepted passes in three games, and won one sack.

Vid Štern will be the most dangerous athletic catcher on the Jazbec side this season. Stern caught seven touchdowns and 4 points after conversions in the first tournament, thus announcing a hunt for the best catcher in the SFFL. In the last game of last season against us, Stern caught two touchdowns, and with this enviable statistic, he is a player that Merlin will follow with his watchful eye.

This match will be a duel of "classic tens". On our side, Aleks Bordon did not play the first tournament, as he recorded only two after point conversions on his account, but he caught a touchdown for which he also made a false start. Thus, Bordon will have additional motivation against the best team of last season to prove how much he has in his legs and what kind of trouble he can cause to the opposing defence.

Aljaž Zelnik shines in Jazbec's defense. He is a player who can be said to be the best defensive player in the Slovenian Flag Football League. It has speed, feels for reading the game, is a good flag puller, and is excellent for catching and returning balls to the end zone. At the first tournament in Kočevje, he recorded 16 tackles and three interceptions in his statistics, one pick-six. And so announced the fight for the importance of MVP defence players in the SFFL.

Dejan Godec will be on our side under Merlin's watchful eye. He is a defensive player who somehow finds himself against the Jazbecs, as he has scored an interception and six tackles in his last game so far. The "debtor" of the previous tournament had only 8 points in three matches, which is an additional motivation to prove himself against the current national champions.
