Frogs started their season in SFFL with a win

We played the first match against Ajdovščina Gladiators. Last year we recorded our first victory in the history of our club against them. The stars were in our favour again as we recorded our 15th victory against the "sons of the wind"!
Last year's 8 wins in the Slovenian Flag football league, 6 wins in the Errea Bowl, and a victory in the first match of the Slovenian Flag Football League's repeated round.
Before the match, Merlin (announced that it would be necessary to watch out for # 1 Gladiators Matjaž Šuštaršič, who caught the ball at his 5 yards and took the ball all the way to our end zone (he also had 3 flag pulls in the match). The game was enjoyable on both sides as we saw a lot of flag pulls. Our # 25 Žiga Strgar scored the most with 11 points in the match, which is also the absolute record of the Frogs in one game. On the other hand, #5 Rok Silič had the most tackles, scoring 8. 6 tackles were written by # 3 Bor Lenarčič, # 4 Dejan Godec had 2. # 32 Blaž Hrušovar had a sack.
Merlin announced that in the defence on our side, it will be necessary to pay attention to the captain of defence # 31, Aljoša Kous, who always has good days and performances against Ajdovščina. He recorded 2 intercepted passes and 2 points in his statistics, which means that he statistically "beat" his teammate Strgar by only one point.
In our attack, Merlin mentioned that it is necessary to follow the captain of attack # 23, Žan Ocvirk, who recorded 1 received TD and 1 PA1. He also scored a rush TD, overturned by the judges as he stepped into the car. A good match had quarterback # 9 Darko Mićić, who passed for 6TDs, and 4 PA1.
2 TDs and 1 PA1 were scored by centre # 24 Lucijan Semprimoznik. Speedy receiver # 20 Klemen Repnik scored 1TD and 1PA1, # 15 Rj Williamson scored TD, rookie # 10 Aleks Bordon scored PA1 (he also had the option of TD, which, however, was annulled by the judges as he was allegedly in the car).
At Gladiators, TD entered # 9 Blaž Tončič. # 13 Tadej Grahovac scored PA1, and 4 tackles, # 10 Luka Pergar had 2 tackles, and Nik Miladić scored for 2 TD, 1PA1 and scored 2 tackles. Only 6 players entered the tournament, and the game ended with 4 players. The love for the game is too great, but they definitely showed heart and toughness on the court, for which we can only bow to them!
