Unbeaten record of Ljubljana Frogs in SFFL is broken by Kranjski Jazbeci

The second match of the second tournament of the Slovenian Flag Football League was against the Kranjski Jazbeci team. The current national champions also entered the match undefeated and from the very beginning, they were extra motivated to stay that way after our match. On the wings of national team QB Nejc Lebar and national team player Vid Štern, they showed the strength they have in attack. Štern scored touchdowns one after another and Lebar showed off his perfect spirals. Throughout the match, Koncilja, Filipovič and Grošelj were also actively involved in the Jazbeci attack.

Our attack could not jumpstart itself, the passer Darko Mićić had 4 intercepted passes in this match, two of them in his own half, which is extremely difficult work for the defense. The only points we put on the scoreboard was the pick6 of RJ Williamson, who managed to escape the passer Lebar and thus ran to the opponent's end zone with both flags. Jazbeci played a tactical match and more than obviously prepared for our game. #4 Dejan Godec pulled out 7 flags, # 23 Žan Ocvirk had one, Žiga Strgar had 5, Žan Luka Cegnar scored a tackle and Aljoša Kous had three pulled flags.

The match is not to be forgotten, as we learned a lot from the defeat, especially how to accept such a high defeat. We sincerely congratulate Jazbeci for the great offence and the displayed game in defense.
