#10 Aleks Bordon will be defending the pond in 2022
GH: Besides Cegnar, you were also a newcomer last season. You played in the position of the wide receiver; how did you find yourself on the court?
I'd say that's fine for a beginner's season. We had a great time with the feeder, but we ran out of little common ground in the end.
GH: You used to be a promising soccer player today; you are a good player of Flag Football; where did you find Ljubljana Frogs, and what is your atmosphere in the team?
On Instagram. The atmosphere seems relaxed, youthful and, of course, positive.
GH: At the beginning of the season, you were without a coach. How did that feel in your game when Makuc came back?
Without the coach, I felt very lost. All I knew was what I learned at Madden. Personally, it is tough for me if I do not have a figure to turn to in training. I really missed someone who would give me exercises specific to my position and, at the same time, observe/criticize/advise me.
GH: You ranked among the top five attackers at the Errea Bowl (this year's Stronghold bowl). What did the award mean to you for the rest of the season? What does it mean as a traveller in your second season?
It meant an excellent overture to me and successfully breaking the ice, especially from the point of view that the passer and I caught and felt. Therefore later in the season, I was confident and knew that Qb would know where and when to look for me. I am entering the second season with a single goal - national champions. I'm not interested in the rest.
GH: Which touchdown did you remember the most, and which defensive player in the SFFL was the hardest to play against, or the team? How will you approach the game itself this year to leave the defensive players behind?
The TD against Milan heroes remained in my head the most when I cut off the entire defence with a few steps and was left alone in the final zone. I don't know the other players by name, but I can say that I personally had the most problems against Kočevje. It seemed to me that they were playing a high zone defence and were thus the easiest to cover the space. On other teams, however, I had a feeling that they also play husband to husband more often, but here I feel the strongest, and consequently, I had no problems because I was relaxed. This season, I plan to refine the campaigns in even more detail and master every route. But I will still take advantage of the "ace up my sleeve," which in my case is definitely speed.
