What Is Flag Football? Complete Beginner's Guide 2025

Ljubljana Frogs Flag Football Team Action

Flag football is a fast, non-contact format of American football based on movement, spacing, timing, and teamwork. Instead of tackling, a defender pulls a flag from the ball carrier’s belt.

The Ljubljana Frogs have brought this sport closer to the Slovenian audience, creating a supportive environment for both experienced and new players.

This guide explains gameplay, IFAF rules, player roles, equipment, and how to join the Frogs.
